And their first salvo is always the claim that you dont need a gun because the society they are establishing for you will keep you safe.

Others include your freedom of speech, you freedom to emble, your freedom to worship (or equally important not to), and all your other rights as a human being and self determination.

    Perhaps, but I still don’t think allowing guns to flow the streets helps the equation. And I honestly don’t think I could live in America without fear of being shot, that’s not something I have to worry about here.

    Couldn’t tell you, Zlyzer, not a sociologist. But unless you believe crime results from citizens having guns, it is beside the point. If that is your argument, I would ask you why, in the cities with the most restrictive gun laws, (New York, LA, Chicago, and Boston), are the gun crime rates highest? Perhaps crime has more to do with other poverty and poor education, issues too complex for the average politician. Denying you your right to have a weapon is easier.

    Alright, I think you have a point. I think it’s fair to say wherever you are, whatever the laws are, criminals will always have guns. So then, you could say, arming the innocent public is a wise thing to do? After all, the REAL criminals already have weapons so what harm can arming little Joe over here bring? But why then, I ask you, are crime rates in the United Kingdom LOWER than they are in the States?

    Where are youfrom Zyler? One of those countries where the only gun you can own is an AirSoft? See, in America we trust law abiding citizens to own real guns and to defend themselves from criminals. I live in Miami and I bet it is safer here than in your city. Why? Because criminals know they may get more then they bargain for if they try something. It’s called freedom, you should try it in your country. But if you are content being a serf, you’re right better stay there, where ever there is.

    What is wrong with you people? Just trying to warn you all that these guns are far too real looking to be carrying on the street for play. And painted over or not, the orange tip is not protection. A police officer or armed citizen gets one of these pointed at them, and you may get real bullets coming back. If you are too dumb to understand, then go ahead. I’ll read about it in the paper.
