I meant to say do you need a hunter license to shoot rabbits on your own land? What are the best the .177 cal hollow points pellets or the pointed pellets to kill rabbits.

I have done a search on the most powerful pellet gun airgun 1,600 fps.

I charged the battery before i shot it, and it worked fine before. I am not sure if it is the battery or something else. please help me!
To add more details, when i pull the trigger on my airsoft gun, i hear no sound, and there is no electrical movement. i checked the barrel and there are no jammed bbs. it might be my battery that i overcharged or maybe my fuse blew.

Since the speed of a air rifle pellet approaches the speed of sound this looks like a daunting task. Any suggestions on how I can accurately measure the speed of a pellet fired from an air rifle? Certainly a stop watch will not work as the speed of sound will be a cause of error.
