    .There r alot of torches out there esp with xenon bulbs some can reach amile my praire falcon & air arms s200 .22 dont travel that far .The bulbs only have a life span of 20 hours approx & are pricey.the maglite has a good 100 mtr beam more than I need.The swivel alloy bipod which fits with the pro-file, keeps things really neat & stays on permanantley.What pellets do u use.Bisley super field I find are good rabbit stoppers,& good old marksman for the rats .clean in w.D & lub in silicone

    yea the maglite is a sterdy torch but alumination has come a long way since then and the maglite just dont quite cut it any more in my opinion, my m8 has a tracer mini with a 12v battery pack, it always getting in his way and resticing his movement, seems like hassel !!! so im glad i got the tactical lol, what rifle do you have m8 ?

    fair comment thats how i felt till i tried one.Seems to me that the fixing to scopes goes back to the days when there was only springers, they had no where to put a light. maglite is a tried & tested torch used by the military. see the t.v programe where they tried to bust a maglite? had to be put in a vice and wacked with a sledge hammer, comes with life time gaurantee as does the pro-file mounts, it’s a win win situation. my old deben only had a years warrenty but plenty of wire!Happy hunting

    theres no way i`d drill holes in my stock to attatch a crappy mag light ! i have a tracer atom tactcal kit and ive never had a problem with light reflection off the silencer nor do i have to carry a motor bike battery around either, so in my option i wouldnt consider having one.

    have u got one or had a go on one? beats the out of PLASTIC clips on your scope and wires all over, velcrow glued to your stock & lets not forget the bed side lamp on off switch, & the bike battery strapped to your backside.And with the deben i remember the bounce off the silencer I can really see why you like all that. Oh by the way I bought one last year thats how I know about it have had excellent sucess

    That has to be the worst idea ever. you can get plastic mounts to mount a light to the scope or barrel.
    And you can get better and smaller torches for guns than that monster.
    A torch under the stock is going to get in the way.
