I’ve heard its the ammo, that bb guns use copper or harder metallic bbs and air soft use plastic. Does that mean if I were to replace my plastic bb’s for my air soft gun with metal ones, it would hit harder?
There is also a difference in diameter.
The airsoft and traditional BBs are not interchangeable.

not necessarily because the bullet will go slower so it will cancel out the hardness.
BB guns are more powerful.
Airsoft guns are for smaller kids and are spring loaded so they cant hit that hard..if you put bbs in ur airsoft gun it might work but since the bullet is heavier it wont go nearly as far or hard
