How to convince my parents to let me get an air soft gun?

I am fourteen years of age. My parents refuse to let me get an air soft gun, because they say they don’t want any guns in the house. All of my trusted friends have them, and I feel kinda left out if you know what I mean. I wouldn’t get any ideas if i had one, and I am smart enough and trust worthy enough to own one but my parents refuse? How can I convince them to let me have one?

What’s the best type of air pistol for a woman?

How much damage can an airsoft gun do to a human?

Do I need a guns license to shot an Air Rifle in South Australia?

Update 11/29/06: Please note, this video is featuring the very first air guns that I ever made, they appear kind of week don’t they? That is because back when i made this vid I was only using paper balls as ammo and low air pressure mabey not even 30psi. These days, my air guns can shoot through pretty much anything with their 100-170 psi, they fire bateries, marbles, nails, etc. so check out my other air gun videos.

Airsoft - Combat South Urban 13-03-05

Highlights of airsoft games played at Combat South Urban. Featuring flashbangs, close-up pistol duels and a 6 barrel moscart launcher.

This is filmed at Fort Widley, an old Victorian era Fort and gun emplacement overlooking Portsmouth.

It features plently of tunnels, rooms and gun slits, along with a 60ft deep moat and many cannon ports. I would say its the best CQB site in England.
